Emerald

This lime green moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In damp forests, On rotten logs, and In heathlands.
It is colossal, growing up to 11 inches (28 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they spread and grow quickly, and is slightly frail.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release dozens of spores.
