Copperleaf

This massive shrub grows up to 15 feet (4.6 meters) tall and lives for around 88 years. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of thick, angular stems covered in waxy, dark brown bark, and the wood inside is gray.

The branches trail down across the ground with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of huge, slender, pointed, leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are found in dark brown and copper varieties, frail and waxy.

It produces thousands of giant, red flowers with stiff, pointed petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They are sturdy and have a delicate scent that smells like a newborn baby. In late spring it forms giantlight brown, winged seeds that float and land far away.
