Burgundy Moss

This burgundy moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In rainy mountain ranges.
It is big, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is slightly resistant.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release millions of spores.
