Yellowgrass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This small, yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The pleated stalks grow in extensive patches that are resilient and they spread and grow quickly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, cyan flower.
During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.
It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
It comes in 8 varieties, each with a different leaf colour.
It is suitable for making paper
