Gold Moss

This gold moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In bogs.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is overwhelmingly resilient.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release thousands of spores.
