Burgundy Succulent

This short cactus grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall. It splits partway up the body to form 4 very thin stems. Each stem is burgundy, and is dotted with small cream spines.

It is very slow growing, taking 30 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with cyan petals on the lower layer and brown petals decorated with green dots on the inner layer. The central disk is azure grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of several petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight tube. It has a delicate scent that smells like damp.

The cactus's skin is thin, the blood red flesh is rough, and the grey sap is thin.
