Emerald

This moss green moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas On rotten logs, In bogs, and In heathlands.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is slightly hardy.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release dozens of spores.
