Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In moorlands.
It is giant, growing up to 1.5 feet (46 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is very light.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release hundred of spores.
