Caramel

This large caudiciform grows up to 103 feet (31.4 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stem is caramel, and is covered in sharp spines. The bulbous, cream trunk can grow to as much as 103 feet (31.4 meters) in diameter. Its emerald branches are short, rigid and upright.

The rounded-edged, thin leaves are solid green with gold dots. They are delicate, but detach easily.

It is very slow growing, taking 38 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with solid lime petals decorated with magenta dots and a purple central disk, grow at the top, reappearing once every 5 years. The flower head is shaped like a tube with 12 widely spaced, narrow petals. It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like fish.

The caudiciform's skin is rock-hard, the copper flesh is waxy, and the lime sap is thin.
