Amberfern

This modest-sized caudiciform grows up to 45 feet (13.7 meters) tall. The fan-like stem is yellow-green, and is covered in many rigid grey spines. It has a wonky, wide, lime trunk atop a wide tripod of ridged, exposed roots. The branches are thin and yellow and are short and slender.

The smooth-edged, stiff, pointed leaves are solid amber or silver, with peach edges. They are flimsy, and do not detach easily.

It is steady-growing, taking 3 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with intense purple petals on the lower layer and copper petals decorated with cyan dots on the inner layer. The central disk is copper grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 40 petals. It has a powerful scent that smells like fresh linen.

The caudiciform's skin is thin, the brown flesh is sticky, and the red sap is thin.
