Copper Moss

It is big, growing up to 7 inches (18 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is overwhelmingly tough; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release hundred of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
The sap is edible and overwhelmingly bitter.
