Copperleaf

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This short leaf succulent grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The very thick stem is copper, and is dotted with small black spines. The smooth-edged, long, tapering leaves are copper and cyan. Small amounts of them grow from the base like a cabbage. The leaves are resistant, but are very difficult to pull away.

It is very fast growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are amber on the underside and red on the top grows at the top, reappearing once every 6 years. The flower head is shaped like a tube made up of 6 raised, narrow petals. It has a soft scent that smells like cinnamon.

The leaf succulent's skin is delicate, the copper flesh is slimy, and the intense purple sap is thin and can kill if consumed.

Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
It is suitable for making paper
