Violetvine

Shrub type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This modest-sized shrub grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 148 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous very thick, straight stems covered in rough, white with black speckled bark, and the wood inside is pine-coloured.

The branches are short, rigid and upright with thousands of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of large, long, narrow, leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are beige at the bottom and peach with red lines at the top, rigid and leathery.

It produces balls of tiny, violet flowers with slender, pointed petals with a tube-like floral cup. They are very delicate and have a weak scent that smells like cinnamon. In late winter it forms medium-sizedblack, spiky-shelled seeds.


It is bio-luminescent.
It is overwhelmingly resistant to fire damage.
It actively smothers and kills off other plants.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
