Creamy Agave

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This small leaf succulent grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stem is orange, and is covered in sharp spines. The tattered-edged, sickle shaped leaves are solid cream with red patches. Handfuls of them grow from the base in a symmetrical pattern. The leaves are flexible, and are very difficult to pull away.

It is steady-growing, taking 4 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with yellow petals on the lower layer and aquamarine petals decorated with vibrant blue dots on the inner layer. The central disk is vibrant blue, grow at the top, reappearing once every 10 years. The flower head is shaped like a cube made up of several tightly layered, round-tipped petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like garlic.

The leaf succulent's skin is nearly impenetrable, the cream flesh is slimy, and the amber sap is thin.

It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
