Azure Spike

This average-sized cactus grows up to 65 feet (19.8 meters) tall. It splits near the top to form 3 needle-like stems. Each stem is gray-green, and is covered in hundreds of rigid azure spines. The tear-shaped body is silver and caramel, and is covered in large amounts of rigid dark brown spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 2 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with grey petals and a yellow center grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of 10 petals in raised layers. It has an intense scent that smells like fruity.

The cactus's skin is extremely thick, the light green flesh is rough, and the pale orange sap is thin.
