Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas On trees, In bogs, and In moorlands.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is extremely rigid; it burns easily in strong sunlight.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release hundred of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
