Copperleaf

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This small leaf succulent grows up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall. The perforated stem is copper, and is covered in sharp spines. The bubbly leaves are solid hazel or deep green, with lilac edges. Small bunches of them grow on flat, pink-red branches that are short, rigid and upright. The leaves are strong and tough, and do not detach easily.

It is steady-growing, taking 5 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with yellow petals on the lower layer and caramel petals decorated with turquoise dots on the inner layer. The central disk is brown grows at the top, reappearing once every 3 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 49 curved petals. It has a fairly strong scent that smells like fruity.

The leaf succulent's skin is very thick, the muted red flesh is smooth, and the beige sap is thin.

It actively smothers and kills off other plants.
