Copper Creeper
Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This average-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 31 feet (9.4 meters) and growing as high as 666 feet (203.0 meters).
It takes 5 years for the orange-yellow stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and remain soft and fleshy.
The very narrow and elongated, fuzzy leaves reach up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) in length. They are found in copper, faded blue and grey varieties, and have irregular edges.
During late spring, the creeper produces a thick sheet of giant caramel flowers.
