Bloodbloom

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 32 years. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has numerous thick, curved stems covered in very thick, cracked, dark green bark, and the wood inside is black with white speckles.

The branches are short stubs that and are covered with large amounts of tiny, very thick, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are generally red, sturdy and sticky.

It produces copious amounts of giant, yellow flowers with 3 pointed petals. They fall easily and have a scent that varies in strength that smells like baby powder. In mid-summer it forms medium-sizedblood red, shelled seeds.
