Copper Moss
Moss type: MossThis copper and light green moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps On trees, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is average-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is overwhelmingly rigid; it takes a lot of damage when trodden on.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release millions of spores.
All parts of the flower are edible.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
The sap is washed-out orange.
