Winding Brown Tree
Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This modest-sized tree grows up to 35 meters (114.8 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 700 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a long and flexible, straight trunk covered in smooth, brown-green speckled bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is dark brown.
The excessive amount of branches are very short and thin and are covered with large amounts of waxy, miniature, 9 pointed leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are gray with dark green tips.
In early spring, it produces many small, drab orange blossoms with circular petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are sturdy and have an overpowering scent that smells like freshly washed clothes.
In late summer it forms tiny, cream, winged seeds that float and land far away.
The roots form a tightly packed ball, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.
Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with clear space between them.
