Crimson Succulent
Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)This small cactus grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The wispy stem is red, and is covered in copious amounts of rigid violet spines. The round body is lime green, and is covered in thick sheets of flexible bronze spines.
It is fast growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with silver petals and a yellow center grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of 21 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight star. It has an overpowering scent that smells like a newborn baby.
The cactus's skin is thin, the gold flesh is rubbery, and the brown sap is thin.
It is suitable for making strong rope
The trunk and branches are covered in large spikes.
