Emberhedge Moss

This orange moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In heathlands, and In damp forests.
It is short, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is very durable; it can easily endure flooding and draughts.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release hundred of spores.
