Emerald

This olive or blue moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas On trees, and In bogs.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is overwhelmingly light.
When mature, emerald shield-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release millions of spores.
