Sunsetvine

Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This massive flower grows up to 12.0 feet (3.7 meters) tall. Its orange-yellow stem is very thin and splits into numerous branching stems a quarter of the way up, and the miniature, copper leaves are asymmetrical with toothed edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

6 to 9 giant flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 83 cm (32.7 inches) wide, with solid white petals decorated with lime lines and a orange central disk. The flower head is made up of several petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight dish. They are sturdy.

It has a fairly strong scent that smells like pot-purri, and it has very little pollen; it can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to butterflies.

It is suitable for making strong rope
