Magenta

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This small leaf succulent grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The spear shaped stem is lime green, and is dotted with small gold spines. The pebble-like leaves are hazel and hazel. Large amounts of them grow on flat, magenta branches that are tall, rigid and upright. The leaves are delicate, but do not detach easily.

It is very slow growing, taking 47 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with sky blue petals that gradient shift to peach on the outer edge. The central disk is gentle purple, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is largely flat with dozens of tightly layered round-tipped petals. It has an overpowering scent that smells like ashes.

The leaf succulent's skin is nearly impenetrable, the light grey flesh is smooth, and the black sap is thin.


It can survive a very long time without water.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
Several parts of the moss have medicinal properties.
