Golden Spine Cactus

This large cactus grows up to 85 feet (25.9 meters) tall. The narrow stem is hazel, and is covered in thick bunches of rigid gold spines. The round body is yellow-green, and is covered in thick bunches of rigid gold spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 9 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are green in the center, lime in the middle and turquoise at the edges, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of several petals in raised layers. It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like varnish.

The cactus's skin is thin, the cream flesh is rough, and the slate sap is thin and can cause blindness if consumed.
