Crimsonfern

This red moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In rainforests, On rotten logs, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is huge, growing up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is overwhelmingly delicate.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release millions of spores.
