Bronzebell

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 14 years. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of long and flexible, straight stems covered in very thick, silky, brown-green bark, and the wood inside is white.

The branches trail down to the ground with dozens of twigs that and are covered with small amounts of giant, broad, flat, leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are beige and gold, flexible and crispy.

In early summer it produces lots of giant, bronze flowers with finger-like petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They fall easily and have a weak scent that smells like grass cuttings.

It grows well in the sun and full shade.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It is very rare outside of a particular area.
