Magenta Moss

Flower type: Perennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This big flower grows up to 5.4 feet (1.7 meters) tall. Its green stem is wispy, and the large, burgundy leaves are stiff, pointed with smooth edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.

A single giant flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 69 cm (27.2 inches) wide, with solid magenta petals decorated with indigo dots and a lime central disk. The flower head is largely flat with handfuls of tightly layered round-tipped petals. They detach easily.

It has the faintest scent that smells like warm milk, and it has excessive amounts of pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by a small species of bird.

It can survive a very long time without water.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
Several parts of the moss have medicinal properties.
