Emerald Clump Moss

This emerald moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps On trees.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is extremely delicate.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release millions of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
