Gray

Tree type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This short tree grows up to 4 meters (13.1 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 452 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a very thick, wonky trunk covered in paper-thin, silky, gray bark, and inside, the dense wood is light brown.

The sparse amount of branches are short and thick and are covered with thick bunches of crispy, huge, thick leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are gray-green with dull purple tips.

In early spring, it produces lots of small, purple blossoms with circular petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They are sturdy and have a scent that varies in strength that smells like garlic.

In late summer it forms tiny, intense yellow, shelled seeds.

The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with clear space between them.

The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
It is suitable for making strong rope
