Violet Grass
Grass type: Perennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This small, pink-red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The sickle shaped stalks grow in thick clumps that are robust.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, violet spikelet.
During the late summer, it produces very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of small grains.
The bark is frequently covered in moss.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
