Caramel

This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 68 feet (20.7 meters) tall. The very narrow, elongated stem is gray, and is covered in lots of flexible blood red spines. The stocky leaves are black and caramel. Very large amounts of them grow on stumpy, emerald branches that trail down to the ground. The leaves are delicate, but do not detach easily.

It is steady-growing, taking 2 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are white in the center, cream in the middle and blood red at the edges, grow at the top, reappearing once every 5 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 54 curved petals. It has a mildly strong scent that smells like lavender.

The leaf succulent's skin is thick, the green flesh is smooth, and the violet sap is thin and causes vomiting if consumed.
