Emerald

This emerald moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In rainforests, and In bogs.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is very resistant; it can easily endure flooding and draughts.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release millions of spores.
