Emerald

This moss green moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas On trees.
It is colossal, growing up to 1.3 feet (41 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is very flimsy; it dislikes being stepped on.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release dozens of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
