Knobbly Brown Tree

This colossal tree grows up to 128 meters (420.0 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 656 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has a knobbly, straight trunk covered in very thick, knobbly, dark brown bark, and inside, the hard wood is pale brown-grey.

The small bunches of branches trail down to the ground and are covered with thick bunches of clammy, giant, thin leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are aquamarine and peach.

In early spring, it produces many bunches of small, hazel blossoms with needle-like petals with a tube-like floral cup. They are hardy and have a delicate scent that smells like fermented fruit.

In late summer it forms small, cream aril (seeds with fleshy covers).

The roots form a tightly packed ball, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
