Bloodvine

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 31 years. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has dozens of flexible, slanted stems covered in fine, rough, dark green bark, and the wood inside is pale yellow.

The branches trail down towards the ground with dozens of twigs that and are covered with small bunches of giant, V-shaped, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are brown on the sides and blood red at the center, tough and smooth.

It produces thick bunches of large, white flowers with long, tapering petals. They are very delicate and have a soft scent that smells like honeysuckle. In late summer it forms smallaquamarine berries.

Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
