Blueleaf Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This big leaf succulent grows up to 95 feet (29.0 meters) tall. The asymmetrical stem is olive or hazel, and is covered in dozens of flexible peach spines. The serrated-edged, fan-like leaves are found in sky blue, white and crimson varieties. Sparse amounts of them grow from the base in no particular order. The leaves are delicate, but detach easily.

It is slow growing, taking 20 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are faded blue on the edges and crimson at the center, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of 60 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight trumpet. It has an intensely strong scent that smells like lavender.

The leaf succulent's skin is very thick, the grey flesh is soft, and the dark grey sap is thin and causes diarrhea if consumed.
