Emerald

This yellow-green moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In marshes, In damp forests, and In moorlands.
It is short, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is extremely light.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release thousands of spores.
