Caramel
Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)This modest-sized cactus grows up to 52 feet (15.8 meters) tall. It splits near the top to form 4 very narrow, elongated stems. Each stem is caramel, and is covered in handfuls of rigid beige spines. The round body is burgundy, and is covered in thick sheets of rigid washed-out red spines.
It is steady-growing, taking 15 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with each petal a slightly different shade of yellow grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 12 curved petals. It has a soft scent that smells like fresh linen.
The cactus's skin is tough, the olive flesh is rubbery, and the lilac sap is thin and has hallucinogenic properties.
The sap causes itchiness of the skin
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
