Clinging Arilvine

This massive shrub grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall and lives for around 37 years. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has several branched, crooked stems covered in very thick, smooth, dark gray bark, and the wood inside is white.

The branches trail down across the ground that and are covered with sparse amounts of tiny, stiff, pointed, leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are magenta and caramel, frail and rough.

It produces a thick sheet of giant, violet flowers with perforated petals. They are very delicate and have a soft scent that smells like lemon. In early summer it forms largesilver aril (seeds with fleshy covers).
