Crimson Moss

This faded red moss is commonly found growing in large clumps On trees.
It is huge, growing up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is overwhelmingly rigid; it takes a lot of damage when trodden on.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release hundred of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
