Emerald Clump Moss

This brown moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas On trees, and In moorlands.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is slightly tough; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release hundred of spores.
