Blue Sickleflower
Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 23 years. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.
It has dozens of branched, straight stems covered in delicate, cracked, yellow-brown bark, and the wood inside is black.
The branches are short, rigid and upright that and are covered with sparse amounts of giant, 4 pointed, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are solid pastel blue with blood red zig-zags, strong and crispy.
It produces dozens of large, blue flowers with sickle shaped petals. They are hardy and have a fairly strong scent that smells like onion. In mid-summer it forms largecream seed pods.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
