Fruit Tree type: Coniferous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This small fruit tree grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall and lives for up to 40 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 69 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a knobbly, angular trunk covered in rough, dark brown bark, and inside, the hard wood is yellow-brown.

The branches are long, thin and wispy and are covered with large amounts of huge, perforated leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are either grey, or green with vibrant blue splotches.

In early spring, it produces many tiny, cyan blossoms with cylindrical petals. They detach easily and have a faint scent that smells like marzipan.

In early summer it produces , fan-like fruit. The fuzzy cream skin is peel-able and sweet and salty, and the very soft green flesh is sour and very dry. The red seeds are small and are bunched at the bottom of the fruit.

The roots are shallow and widely spread, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.
