Emerald

This green or beige moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In rainforests, In rainy mountain ranges, and On rotten logs.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is extremely flexible.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release dozens of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
