Orange-Yellow Moss

This orange-yellow or orange moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps In rainforests, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is large, growing up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is slightly flimsy; it dislikes being stepped on.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release hundred of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
