Caudiciform SucculentGray

Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This average-sized caudiciform grows up to 56 feet (17.1 meters) tall. The very thick stem is gray, and is covered in brittle red spines. The round, brown trunk can grow to as much as 56 feet (17.1 meters) in diameter. Its hazel and slate branches are tall, rigid and upright.

The rounded-edged, finger-like leaves are slate with hazel tips. They are tough, but take little effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 18 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with aquamarine petals that gradient shift to cyan on the outer edge. The central disk is gentle red, grow at the top, reappearing once every 3 years. The flower head is made up of several petals in raised layers. It has a powerful scent that smells like cheese.

The caudiciform's skin is thin, the brilliant purple flesh is rubbery, and the aquamarine sap is thin.

It is slightly resistant to fire damage.
