Cream Moss

This cream moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In moorlands.
It is big, growing up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is very delicate.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release thousands of spores.
